The Safi Safaris executive staff is diverse and talented. Born on two continents, we offer a wealth of experience which is brought to bear on the job of providing first-class safaris to our customers. We know Tanzania, and we know how to create and guide superior African safaris.

Jo Driessen
Jo has lived in Africa since 1969, except for a few years in Holland. She is English, speaks fluent Dutch, and has lived in and travelled extensively in Eastern and Southern Africa. Jo is a true connoisseur of Tanzania's flora and fauna, and spends the bulk of her time heading Safi's business operations, managing our Arusha office, and developing itineraries and custom designed safaris.

Willy Karia
Willy is a well qualified and very experienced driver/guide. Born in the Pare Mountains here in Tanzania, he has lived in Moshi (Mount Kilimanjaro), Arusha, and has travelled throughout Tanzania, East Africa, and Central Africa on safari. His knowledge of this part of Africa is extensive and he loves to share that knowledge with clients. And Willy can see a rhino where you don't even notice a dot in the distance.

Judith Jackson
After visiting Tanzania several times over a number of years, Judith made her home here in 1996. Since then she has managed a lodge in the Serengeti, bar/restaurants in Arusha and a lodge on the Indian Ocean coast.
